What is T-YLining?

T-lining is a trenchless method of pipeline repair that involves inserting a new pipe section, called a T-Y liner, into an existing pipeline and service connection. The T-Y liner is designed to create a new, structurally sound pipe within the existing pipeline and service connection, effectively restoring the pipeline’s functionality and structural integrity.

Mainline & Service Line Repairs

The process of T-lining involves accessing the pipeline through existing access points, such as manholes or cleanouts. A T or Y liner is then inserted into the pipeline using a robot, and the liner is expanded to fit the diameter of the pipeline and the service connection. Once the liner is in place, it is cured using ambient cured resins, creating a new, seamless pipe and service connection.

T-lining is a highly effective and efficient method of pipeline repair, as it allows for the restoration of damaged pipelines without the need for extensive excavation or replacement of the entire pipeline. Additionally, T-lining is a non-destructive method of repair, as it does not damage the surrounding area or the pipeline itself. This method of repair is ideal for pipelines of all sizes, from small residential pipes to large municipal pipelines.
